Welcome to the September Newsletter!  The summer and vacations are over, WPC 2015 is behind us and it’s time to look forward to the exciting changes ahead.  I first became involved with IAMCP eight years ago with the formation of the Colombia chapter.  From president of that chapter to serving on the LATAM and International Boards, I have come to deeply appreciate the important role the organization plays in building businesses and making an impact in the local and global economies.

Partner to Partner (P2P) relationships have always been a driving force for IAMCP and I am inspired by the success stories of IAMCP members. Through IAMCP, members forge the right connections to leverage one another’s strengths, develop new markets more easily, grow their businesses faster, and stay connected to what’s happening in the industry.  IAMCP is breaking new ground with the launch of the P2P Maturity Playbook, a “how-to” approach to mastering the skills and discipline essential for developing and sustaining successful partnerships.  Find out more about this exciting program that can propel your business forward in this month’s newsletter.

On the topic of staying connected, I am pleased to represent IAMCP International’s Digital Presence committee. Redesigned to deliver a trendy, modern look and feel, the new site will also be easy to update so that content is fresh and compelling. This will enable members to readily find information, success stories, and resources to support business growth. Watch out for the new look launching soon. IAMCP is where deep partnerships are fostered and customer impact is made every day of the year. I encourage you to get the most IAMCP has to offer by being active with local chapters, building partner-to-partner business, winning together, and supporting the dynamic activities of the IAMCP Women in Technology groups.

A Practical Approach to Building Confidence

Tiffani Bova, VP and Distinguished Analyst with Gartner Research and the keynote speaker at the WPC 2015 IAMCP Women in Technology Charity Luncheon, focused her talk on “Flexing our Confidence Muscles”. Microsoft Updates

Pinpoint Fact: 18% of cloud partners don’t have a profile listed in Pinpoint. At the same time, Microsoft generated over 103,000 leads to partners last year, 47% of which were for cloud solutions.  Don’t miss out on opportunities – leverage these materials to update your Pinpoint profile and make an impact.  

Microsoft simplifying the competency process: The feedback on competencies has been received and Microsoft is taking action.
